What a crappy year for us... :(

As you know we lost our Banksie girl suddenly two weeks ago....



well tonight we lost our friend's Cane Corso, our sweet love, Nova. Nova and Utley were dogs that Lewis and I would sit for when our friends were out of town.

This is her tonight just before she passed, that is her Daddy giving her much love. Nova had been sick with cancer since early this year and it was a long shot she would make it to December, so she made it to 12/1. She was a breeder momma that our friends rescued and Nova was very picky about who she let in... we were two of the lucky ones.



We also lost Utley, another Cane Corso, Nova 'brother', he also was a rescue, saved as a 6 month old where assholes where trying to make him a bait dog. he died of cancer, but it was unexpected and he past within a month of finding out



And, we lost my sister's Pug... Pugsly, another rescue as a 4 month old pup... he past very sudden due to a brain disorder





Rest in peace all you sweet babies... you all brought great joy to our lives!

I'm so very sorry. We've been having a rough time with Vegas...as you know. 3 grandmal seizures within 30 days of each other. Usually it's 1 every 3 to 6 weeks.

So sorry. To lose so many in a short period of time is truly heartbreaking. We lost our Trixie during the holidays. It was rough. Mabel saved us. You guys need for 2015 to come in with some good news!

Aww, Carol. You made me cry. We've all felt the pain of losing one of these sweet creatures. Someone once told me that for every dog you lose, you lose a piece of your heart. Then each new dog fills the hole, until eventually you have a heart as sweet as a dog's. I can think of nothing better.

I can't even put into words how much my heart aches for you… It seems like when it rains it pours, and pours… Every single one of these babies were loved, and that is something that you keep in YOUR heart. They are NO longer in pain, and I believe that we will be reunited w/our beloved babies again one day. No matter how much your heart hurts, you will feel LOVE once again… it won't be the same but Christine you are a RARE person. You give 100% of yourself to these babies, whether you own them or not. I believe that the love that we give is equal to what we will receive… and your heart will overflow again. Until then you have us to hold onto…
