Hera is an 8-year-old Bulldog that came into rescue with her littermate sister Mini (Minerva). They have been together their entire lives and we want to place them together. Their human family was having a crisis and could no longer care for them. They have been indoor/outdoor dogs but had been sleeping mostly outdoors. They will both need a refresher course on housetraining. Here is some info about each of the girls:
Hera: Hera is a playful girl and the more energetic of the two. She can be protective of her toys and food. She is a bit on the stubborn side. Hera loves to play with Balls! She is happiest when chewing on or chasing a ball. She is a little hard of hearing, but that doesn’t slow her down. You will actually have to tell her when playtime is over. She will play with her ball until she can’t play anymore. Hera loves attention and to be petted.
Mini (Minerva): Mini is the more calm sister who is food motivated. They are both strong on leash and a bit stubborn. Mini enjoys taking naps and being petted. Mini’s true love is food. Her form of exercise is chasing Hera when Hera is chasing her ball. But mostly she just watches Hera chase the ball Mini’s main goal in life is to sleep. She does have dry eye that requires drops for life.
UPDATE: Mini is doing great on her house training! She’s a very good girl!
Hera and Mini have been together since day one and we want them to stay together. They get along well almost all of the time. They are both up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested negative. They are both currently on Bulldog ‘weight watchers’ as they both need to shed a few pounds.
