Mack Is At Rainbow Bridge

Mack went to meet his brothers and friends Thursday a little after 5 P.M. We were close to Hailey, ID (for an antique show) when I got the call from their doggie hotel. The owner had both Mack and Ruggles out to potty, Mack went and then keeled over. His precious heart just called it quits. They tried to get it going again, but he was gone. They called me with the bad news and that evening took him to our home and burried him. Friday they planted some flowers on his grave. My heart is broken, I feel bad because I wasn't there with him, but I know he didn't suffer. I'll post a proper memorial when I can.

Just remember Alice...he had the best life..he lived a good long time and he was happy. You being there would've been for you. Mack knew he was loved and that's what you focus on. I am so sorry to hear the news. He did, does know how loved he was. Some animals sense death and will leave or wait for their parents to be gone to pass. They know how we hurt with them gone and want to spare us. He is running free and like a puppy again over the Bridge.

Ruggles was with him to bid a farewell. And of course the angels needed him more. You certainly gave him a very good life and he has the body and the health of a young pup now, energy to cross the bridge and run free in the fields of flowers and new smells. Oh Alice, I am so so sorry for the loss of Mack. I know your heart must really be broken right now. We lost Orion the same way, no warning at all. One day he was fine, that night he died. oh alice im so sorry to read this. its always so sad when our babies leave us like that esp if we are not around. mack was loved and cared for and he knows this. we will miss sweet mack and know he is at the bridge and is happy and peaceful. hugs to you and ruggles
