What do you do for a living?

I am a professor at the University of Manitoba and I teach art. I get to work with dedicated talented students who really want to live a creative life. Definitely one of the best jobs in the world. I feel so lucky.

I am a mom to a beautiful teenage daughter, 1 bully, 1 shepherd mix, 1 cat and a fish. I also work as a referrals coordinator in a medical office and as my title on here says, a "pooper scooper" by night. :)

Skye and I are both US Army retired (somehow with the budget cuts we found ourselves forced into medical retirement last year). We spent 28 and 24 years respectively. I was an MP and Skye was a supply specialist. Now we putter around the Ranch feeding and growing things. We started working on the house (some much needed improvements like work out room into bar lol) and spend time traveling on the motorcycles and hanging out with the Grandbabies.

I work in cable TV. My wife and I both work a lot on the website. Although I don't really consider it a job, because it is fun. More like a hobby. ;)

I'm a designer. I actually own my own web design & branding biz. It's totally a fulltime job for me!! (Though I will admit I did start out dabbling as a hobby)

If anyone is interested, you can check out my site/work: www.teakettica.com.

So fun to see what you all do. So many interesting replies.

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist....I learn people to talk gooder!!!!
I work with little ones birth to 3........I get paid to play!

I am mom to four kids (husband, step-daughter whom I consider mine, son and fur baby) and soon to a fourth (foster bully). I'm completely jealous of the stay-at-home moms :p but truly love my job. I work at the municipal court in my town. I work with wonderful people, in a very rewarding job. I also have the benefit of being close to home and stopping to see my babies at lunch and whenever they need something. I just wish I had more hours in the day to be spent with all of them! My dream is to one day own my own child care. Think it's my retirement plan at this point.
dozersmama - let me know how that Hawaii thing works out because that's where I want to go too! Lol

I am a physical therapist in a skilled nursing facility. I help the elderly recover after illness or surgery, so hopefully they can return home again. Daisy, my EB, is my sidekick at work, she is in training to be a certified therapy dog. She is amazing with the patients.

At the present I work as a consultant/contract worker for the Florida Dept of Transportation, we approve aggregate sources for material used in building roads, bridges and etc. and also perform tests on the material as part of the acceptance process. In a past life I was a member of the clergy as a Pastor for 22 years

Chunksmama well as far as I can figure it right now, we would probably have to live in a trailer lol. It is so expensive but given its Hawaiia I suppose I could get used to it. The idea of not being firmly attached to the ground worries me a little.

Lol! I think I could get used to anything for Hawaii. The bullies might need something more luxurious though.
