What do you do for a living?

I love reading about everyone! So many neat careers!

I'm a bird trainer at the National Aviary. :)

That's awesome but mist birds scare the bejesus out of me. The scream and bite and I'm kind of afraid they are just waiting for the opportunity to peck out my eyes.

I'm a photographer full time. Until this past October I was in truck leasing (Sales & Management). I'm very thankful I had photography to fall back on.

I loved my life and all I did, started out in the fitness/health field as a fitness
consultant & tech, went into membership sales & marketing, then asst mgr
and finally mgr...all for a women's health spa. Married and moved to MS
and opened up the 1st Casual Corner (women's clothing) in MS, 3 yrs later
became a cosmetic/jewelry buyer, 6 yrs later, divorced 1st Hubby, moved to
Dallas and managed a women's boutique, then worked as make up artist for
high end cosmetic lines the next 10 years. Became territory sales consultant
for Sebastian Salon Hair Care for Central TX, went into radio ad sales for jazz
station then worked for Better Business Bureau for Central TX then worked
for the National Chamber of Business developing the Central TX area and finally
worked for 2 car dealerships selling new cars. I'd been struggling w/health issues
for about 10 years but wasn't dxed w/Lupus, Sjogren's & Fibro until I was 50. At
that point I was unable to work, applied for and received disability...so boring as
my life was very high octane, exciting work traveling, meeting people, developing
territories and new accounts...it was also very creative, interesting & FUN. Most of
all, I worked very independently and was usually my own boss, I thrived on it!
