General Question Ouch!

This is what Finn's neck looks like after his vet visit this morning. The area was very crusty and hard, and beneath was dried blood. The reason why I took him to the vet today was because he's been so ITCHY for the past month or more. I've tried everything--switching foods, adding fish oil, rubbing him with coconut oil--but nothing was working.
Finn got a shot of dexamethasone and a prescription for Apoquel which I'm hoping will help him out. He's also on cephalexin for this nasty looking wound. Poor little guy is finally not scratching himself and i'm hoping will start to feel better soon.

Ya never know what can start this, a sensitivity out of the blue,
a bite, allergies...glad he's not itchy now, has meds and praying
Apoquel works miracles for Finn.

The best news is he's not scratching anymore! Nothing heals until they do. The Apoquel works wonders on Hershey. Hope it's a cure for Finn too! He's on the road to recovery!
