Gaia
Hey there,

My name is Chris that's going to be a week that Gaia my 3 month old English Bulldog is home. On so many point, she is awesome . She sleep at night, stay in her crate, poop outside, doing pretty going when I am at work.
But I would need help on some point. She is not playing with her toys, prefer to bite my hand, nose or ear than her bone.
She seems to be very social outside with people and others dogs but to get her outside I most of the time have to take her in my arm or pull a little bit on the leash to kind of motive her to go.

Thanks for everything that's time for me to dig more into the forum

Welcome! Shes in the shark phase (teething) and it will eventually pass in about 6 months. Constant redirection to chew toys, yelping loudly so she knows it hurts, ignoring, shaking coins in a can, are just a few ways to overcome this.

Yes a strong no! And constant redirect from all members of the family. Always have some nylabones or toys to replace your body parts with.

This will pass, as she is still a pup and wants to play. The others have told you some good advise above.

Welcome,I'm new as well my 9 week old bulldog is exactly the same,he has more toys chews but still prefers things he shouldn't,glad to know it will pass :)

:welcome3: to EBN.... redirect with a soft toy when he tries to bite/chew you... the leash will come in time, use treats to entice him tocome

Welcome! Pics please!

My bully is the same way. It's pretty crazy at times, but you've gotten good advice.

Welcome to EBN. Agree with all the above. When we got our Bentley, he was 8 months old and had been in a crate and/or kennel for all that time with what we believe no social interaction at all. He did not know what a toy or treat was at that time. Now at 14 months, I need to sign him up for the Varsity Ball team. Tincture of Time and be consistent.

:welcome3:Keep up with the advice above. Don't give up-it will be worth it!
