Jewel Post-op Update #1

I just got off the phone with Dr. P.---Jewel is starting to wake-up and she did well through the procedure. The operation was routine and there were no surprises. They will feed her this evening, tomorrow a.m. and to call the hospital after 0900 hours tomorrow for a pick-up time. Great news for now. I know that after surgery despite all the good news a patient can go sour at less than a moments notice.

Thank you, Roger, had just checked for updates but came right back (hoping) and here you are!

Whew, (wipes brow), just thankful all went well & Jewel gets to EAT finally then home soon with
her loving parents. No better medicine than that <3

Now...waiting on Corine's sweet Penny to finish up...I need a drink but out of tequila

Awesome news so far! Still waiting for Penny's to finish. Dr. D called me about an hour ago and said he had quite a few emergencies come in this morning (or he just cant say "NO")-lol. But that he'll get started mid afternoon and call me when she's done and out.
