I just picked up an 11 week old male bulldog named Chunky White. He is my second bulldog but it has been a few years since I had one. I bought Dixie when I was 17 and she lived 11 years but wasn't the best trained dog but, was my favorite dog so far. I am going to do my best to train Chunky so that his life and mine will be the best possible. He is a great pup so far that goes outside to use the bathroom when i am around and on his training pad when I am away. But he goes in the floor if I am home and have him in his room. I am hesitant to lock him up in his crate so I am probably at fault.

Welcome to EBN Wes & Chunky - that boy is just precious!! Those wrinkles make me weak in the knees. Amazing that your last bully lived til 11 , that says alot in an owner for the care & love they receive. Glad to have you here!

He has the sweetest face! And I love all of those wrinkles!

Do not be hesitant to put him in his crate. If you use it properly, it will become his safe-haven and he will enjoy being in it. This might be the best way to potty train him. I'm no expert, but I have two young Bulldogs and I put the youngest one in her crate from time to time. She is almost three months old and still has accidents in the house. My six month old is good about waiting until I take him out, which I try to do frequently.
