I am very sad to say we have had to let Bob cross the rainbow bridge. We have been having behavioral problems with him and had him booked for another session. Unfortunately, he began to get aggressive. We tried different meds but nothing helped. He has bitten me on the face twice unprovoked and started to go after my husband who he previously adored. He was very unpredictable and you never knew when he was going to "go off". It made for a very stressful life for us and our other pets. After long discussions with a bulldog rescue (for advice, I could not in good conscience rehome him) and his vet, we decided to have him put to sleep. They were both of the opinion that something was "misfiring" in his brain or he perhaps had a tumor. We are heartbroken and are so sorry it came to this. It was not his fault, poor boy.

I am sorry that you had to have Bob put to sleep. I know it is a hard decision to make, but it sounds like it was the right decision. As I started reading your post, the first thing I thought of was a brain tumor. I am sad for you.a decision like that is never easy. All know how you care for your dogs and you care very much. Sad.

Big hugs Pam… incredibly difficult situation and decision but you had to do what was best for you, the family and Bob. You gave him a great life.

I agree.. there had to be a brain tumor☹️☹️

Rest well Bob.. 😞

You’ve made the right decision Pam. Definitely not the easiest one but sometimes our hands are tied and we need to see reality. Certainly sounds like a tumour. RIP Bob 💕
