Emergency vet trip

Donna, I actually just had this happen with Murray a few weeks ago and after a week of the bland diet ground beef and rice which he LOVED it turned out just fine. I have switched to boneless wings in the house for now :) but that's just me being a little paranoid! Keep us posted!

And she knew I was after her--that's why I thought she swallowed it whole. Gus did swallow his whole. It was so quick, maybe a second, two at the most. I still can't believe Winnie bit her bone in two! She (I think it was her, but didn't see it happen) had some diarrhea once this morning. She is feeling fine though. Diarrhea wasn't one of the things on the list of stuff to watch for. I'll keep watching!

Murray had diarrhea too for a few days, the bland diet and the bread helped a bit with it

I'm glad Gus is fine, and I am hopeful that Winnie will pass her bone soon.

My Tucker has gotten to where he will immediately swallow something in his mouth if he thinks I need to get it! I try not to show alarm so that I can grab his mouth before he swallows the object. I love my Bullies to pieces, but they are just like toddlers who cannot be left alone, unless they are in a padded room, lol!

Thought I'd update y'all on Winnie. It'll be a week tomorrow since she swallowed the bone and nothing has happened. She had diarrhea once the day after and that's all. I haven't seen it in her poop and I've been checking. No vomiting and she seems to feel great as usual. So I'm going to assume that her stomach acid dissolved the bone like the vet said--and that Winnie has a cast iron gut! I guess it's not too late--I'll keep watching her, but so far so good.
