My parents had to put their 15 yr old golden, Sydney, down this evening. From what I understand it was bloat. He was a great dog, so very sweet. The past few years he has suffered from horrible anxiety. I'm glad he's now at peace.

Oh wow, so sorry for them and you too ;(
Prayers for peace & comfort to deal with his loss.

As my son grew up, we had several Goldens, love the breed
so much.

We had a English Springer Spaniel that developed severe anxiety.
Terrible to see them have it & terrible to deal with...RIP Sydney!

Yes, hes the one I watch. it's so sad but with his anxiety it was taking it's toll on him and my parents. He would tear their house apart when they would leave. I'm just glad he's not suffering anymore, he had such a good life. Now my parents might be able to enjoy leaving the house more and not worry about him.
