My 7 month old EB is defintely my boy. He's attached to me. I'm his person. So I'm wondering if that is why when my daughter or even other people are next to me in my house he will lunge at them. He's still growing so he doesn't really get them but he defintely is doing it out of anger. These same people can be around him when I'm not there and he's fine. But when I'm there he will go all Rambo. I am assuming it's me but I don't understand why. The one person he does that to is my 7 year old and he will lay down on her other times. Has anyone else experienced this. My husband can be around me and my other daughter can be around me and he's fine. It's like he picks and chooses. He's attached to be but he knows my husband is the alpha too. It's strange. And my problem is because he's the light of my life he can do no wrong
in my eyes but yet if this is aggression he's showing even if its for protection I want it corrected. Pic of my handsome boy giving me that look because my other dog was laying next to me

At 7 months it is imperative that you gain contro before something serious happens. Search on here for ā€œnothing in life is freeā€

If he maims your 7 year old you will very quickly change your thoughts about him. It is time to start thinking this way

Like @benny mentioned donā€™t wait till something seriously happens to your children or anyone cause it will be too late. When theyā€™re puppies, they all look cute n funny but, this is the time you need to snap them out of their alpha brain.

He is guarding you and it's likely not too late for YOU to take charge and put him in his place. If you do not assume alpha and correct this behavior it promise that it will steadily get worse, until he seriously injures someone. Save your beloved Bulldog, get some training...for you and for him and for your family. Everyone in the home must be on board with how he is treated from this day on.

I agree with the gang.... we are not trying to scare you, we are being honest with what could happen if YOU don't show him you are alpha and not him. He knows you have a weakness for him and he will take advantage. Get a trainer in home to show you how to work with him and notice his triggers and boy language.

Hi My situation is the same but different. I have two grandkids one thatā€™s 5 and one that is 2. When the two year old is here by herself he goes nuts. Over excited, constantly running up to her wanting to , lick her, will not let her out of his sight. . What ever room we go in heā€™s right there. When she takes a nap he can lay outside the closed door for hours. Yes heā€™s attached to me , Always following me and waits for me if say I am taking a shower.
