I know I have been absent, but hopefully I am back and will keep in touch! Here is an updated pic of Jovi. She is now 43 lbs!! Also, I am in the middle of trying to get my new fiance (yes we got engaged) to say yes to getting another! Jovi's mom is currently pregnant, with a different dad. And Chris says he is exacting another large litter and hopes I can grab one from the litter since he knows me, and I have Jovi. Jovi is now almost a year and a half, and still completely wants to play 24/7, we have another dog that is a chihuahua and she is 3 but never EVER wants to play. She sleeps all day long lol, so I think its only fair to get another puppy to play with Jovi because she LOVES dogs. Now.... time to convince my fiance. I am hoping that pictures of the litter gets him excited. She is due in less than a week!!! :w00t:

Aww, we adopted Frankie because Brutus wants to play all the time and my older labs wanted nothing to do with him. They are buddies and love playing together. I say go for it!! How about a surprise easter/passover present for the future hubs??? just sayin.....

Jovi looks fabulous! Welcome back! Very nice to see you. Congrats on your engagement too! Looking forward to hearing what your fiancé says....

Welcome back to EBN :)

How's Jovi doing? I remember she needed surgery for ACL repair. Did she ever have it done?

Thanks guys! Also, she has a torn ligament in both of her back legs and also has hip dysplasia. We did not do any surgery on her, mainly because the vet said if we fix it, chances are shes going to tear it again. We didn;t want to keep putting her in surgery. So we decided to bring pain meds home and anti inflammatory pills home with us. She has been great since! We actually still have the bottles. She doesn't need them very often. So we have taken a month supply and still going 5 months later with the pills. So we are happy with our choice!

Also, the reason I need to talk Gary into getting another because he says hes not ready yet. But I totally am! hahaha. :p

Welcome back:) Glad to hear Jovi is doing good without surgery, she is adorable<3

I'm sorry to hear she's got hip dysplasia though, we've spent a lot of money and emotion into our two girls who also has it. I hope Jovi's isn't bad and that the new litter wont carry the gene. Looking forward to seeing puppy pictures:) Good luck with the convincing:)

Jovi is one handsome stud muffin, he def needs a friend, hee hee.

jovi looks great, she's grown alot!! glad your back and congrats on the engagement!!! :D

Yes get another puppy!!! I'm having the same conversation with my boyfriend now. Ruckus's mom just had a litter and I'm obsessed.

Welcome back April, we missed you and Jovi, she's grown so much. Congratulations on your engagement.
I agree with others, Jovi needs a sibling, everyone should have more than one bully. Lol. I hope you can win your fiancé over, maybe if he sees the puppies he may cave, or you could buy one as an engagement/Easter, or Spring present. Please keep us posted.

hey there stranger! Welcome back..... Jovi is looking fantastic!

Nice to hear from you again, Jovi is looking fantastic, sounds like you have been busy, I also get so busy that I find it hard to get on all the time, but as soon as I can I jump right back in !!!! Good luck in trying for a new furry member to the fam !
