BITE WAIVER REQUIRED Rocco is a funny, loving and playful 7 year-old English Bulldog who is ready to find his forever home. He's looking for a special family ready for some serious love, and who is willing to take him for the big, handsome, low-maintenance but complicated lump that he is. This boy has personality in spades, but needs a few things to keep him happy and safe and to create a loving environment in which he can thrive. Rocco love his toys and playing tug with his family! His ideal home would be a single person or couple with training experience and an understanding of anxiety issues with dogs, a very quiet single family home with a fenced-in back yard. He's a talker, so an apartment or a townhome is not a good fit for him. Rocco's home must be one without children and without the possibility of being exposed to them. Once he gets to know and trust humans, he wants to keep them safe, and children do not work in that equation. His amazing foster family is willing to help with training and the transition to his furever home, so a home within 2 hours of Niagara Falls, Ontario would be best. Rocco will need to continue to take Prozac daily to curb his anxiety issues. He does not require any other medicines and is healthy other than some aging in his hips. Rocco is a sweet, funny loving dog who would love fur siblings, and a family who will work with him, and love him for who he is. His foster mom says once he is shown his place in the family he's truly wonderful, loving and playful.
