My bulldog is dealing with a herpesvirus outbreak in her eye. She’s also doubling being difficult with allergies (which a balance between meds and the herpes is needed as the allergy meds that work for her suppress the immune system which we need to be at its best to get the herpes to go dormant). My dog rubs her face on whatever she can..... doesn’t really itch with her paw. I have yet to fine a cone that will stay on her as her neck is bigger then her head. I don’t know that the inflatable would help since she’s rubbing for them itching. Any suggestions?

I would try the inflatable or the soft cone. Soft is just like the hard plastic but made of material that has like a cushion inside to keep it up

I used the inflatable one for my Winston, and it worked out much better. Actually he used it as a pillow when he was trying to sleep... Lol

jessica989 When my 2 had cones, I put collars on them(they normally wear harness) and used a hole punch to put a few holes in cone and tied shoelaces thru the holes to the collar.

We tried the inflatable collar for Buster when he had his eye surgery. He rubbed his face on anything he could find so we had to use a cone. We fixed it to his collar so he couldn't get it off and it worked well. He did not like it but we couldn't risk him damaging his eye after his surgery. I did use the collar occasionally when I could really watch him just to give him a break but if I was busy doing stuff, it was the cone.
