Good news everyone
Brynnlee is back to her normal self! Playing with her toys, chewing on her bones, and being a bulldog! No more swelling at all! It was a very long day and night for us and we did not get much sleep - she has to pee more often due to drinking more as my vet says that is a side effect of the prednisone, but so far we are in good shape tonight. I am happy to have a happy and comfortable bullyThank you all for your concerns and help!
My vet says no bug bite from what she can see - she was pretty certain she got ahold of cheese curds or a french fry - my suspicion is she was fed one of the two by my step - dad as he still refuses to admit it, will not ask how she is doing, and goes out of his way to not see/talk about her right now - seemed weird to me, but the most important thing is she is better!
I am thinking about the shots to have on hand - I will ask next time I am there if they can give me some since this is not our first rodeo with this happening.
Brynnlee says thank you everyone![]()
@AmberXo So great to hear the GOOD news for Brynlee. I would definetly see if you could have a shot on hand, since her reaction is so severe. As for your f-i-l, he
acts like he has some guilt...........but probably didn't believe it would harm her......you know how people can be!
