Bertha's ACL repair is today

I am glad Miss Bertha is back home. Now comes the hard part. For us it was helping Jewel go potty. I just couldn't stand to see my little girl hurting. We just supported her so she could do her thing. The play pen and stroller are great to keep her immobile.

On another note..Jewel has her 12 week follow-up today 10/29.

I had to google meniscus, will she be okay without it? She looks so sad, poor baby girl. I'm so glad she's okay. Sending a ton of love her way, I just want to squeeze her.

We are at home finally! I had a few beers for sure to get through the wait!

Bertha is doing good today. She has not had anymore emesis since we picked her up at vet's. She is voiding but still heavily medicated. Thank you all for the concern!!

Oh poor sweet Bertha. Sorry I'm late to this too Tracey. But so glad that she came through surgery well and is at home now. Now it's on to recover for the next few months. Did they just repair it or do a TPLO? I'm a bit out of the loops (sorry about that). Hugs and smooches to you both. Cute Santa blanket too.
