Jut to add, stay away from vets 4 pets! I recently learnt from the police a staff member saw the Facebook post and private messaged the poster after recognising me and Freya and gave my details! To do that they must have accessed the files at work which is illegal and a serious breach of private data.
I waiting for a phone call from the police today to get the persons name and position in the company as I’m am going to report them .

I worked at a dog daycare for four years and some of the worst dogs were Chihuahuas absolutely vicious at times there were two that came in and had to be kept in crates because if we went anywhere near them, they would try to bite you. There was only one person on staff that the dogs allowed to handle them and feed them.

We had pitbull’s Rottweilers Doberman’s mastiffs, Corso’s that were all big babies and loved on everyone…. Chihuahuas just nasty little dogs.

Funnily enough one of the neighbours involved in all this has a chihuahua and it’s not the friendliest of dogs lol. Another thing that really bugs me is that the main ones causing all this trouble allow their dogs to just go wandering around offlead ( it’s a small communal place) I’m a smoker and smoke outdoors and all day every day I see their dogs wandering around and barely any of them go pick their mess up! In nice weather they just open their doors and the dogs come and go freely, in bad weather they let the dogs out and call them back in! I’ve cleaned up after them myself many times when I’ve been out with Freya.
A lot of neighbours have complained repeatedly about all the mess all the time, they just deny it and say it’s some of the many dog walkers who cut through our street. They way this community’s designed where the neighbours are people walking by would have to go out of their way and do a roundabout turn to do that lol.
Hopefully I’ll be out of here soon and back home, I moved here only for medical needs. It’s horrible it’s very cliquey and racist even though it’s a town.
I come from a lovely small village with plenty of dog places and friendly respectful people which is not racist or cliquey at all , go figure.

Yes she is and I get to see her but the lovely neighbours always gossip about “ that bloody dogs here again” some have now started making a show of huffing and puffing calling their off lead dogs back and picking them up even though where they are is across the street and Freya is always on a lead , when she is already across the road and walking even further away to get to mine lol it’s absolutely ridiculous.
Hopefully I’ll be put as priority for a move because of the attempt to poison her and the threats and harassment I’m still getting. I’m also looking at bungalow swaps , unfortunately because of the adaptations I need that limits the choice a bit and the little village I’m from is not easy to get a home in. But I’m trying to be positive about it.

Another update.
I contacted vets 4 pets and spoke with the general manager who was lovely and was not impressed, but said she needed to pass it on to the owner manager.
She knew nothing of the situation at all and said she would investigate and get back to me. A week later after not hearing from her I contacted her again. She is such a huge liar and not a very good one.
She said she’d looked into it and it was definitely not any of her staff. Somebody else must have done it. When I pointed it out it was the police who’d informed me she said they’d got it wrong . I told them it was the person who’d put up the original post and informed the police.
She then said it was obviously someone who knows I used vets 4 pets and was claiming to be a staff member.
I told her the only people who know Freya’s vets are completely disgusted and did nothing of the sort.
The next reasoning was she knew it wasn’t her staff as the police had been at that time asked her to fill in paperwork about her staff, she refused and shredded it. I was completely stunned and very peed off and knew she was lying. I told her i wasn’t prepared to drop it and would look into it further.
After the phone call I realised some of what she said and had 2 questions in particular so I called her straight back.
I asked her did you say you saw a screen shot? She said yes, I then said to her then can you tell me who showed you it, as it was taken down that same day . Her exact reply “well, erm, I saw the actual post I saw the day it was posted!
I asked her who the police officer she’d said was dealing with the case was and what information was wanted and why did she destroy it? This time she claimed it was asking for information about me, bearing in mind I’d already told her I was the one who’d contacted the police.
Never once was I asked who Freya’s vet was and it was never mentioned by me, the subject didn’t come up.
She said she couldn’t remember who the officers were that it was two men. It was a woman who actually dealt with it. I mentioned that and she shrugged it off saying well it could have been I really can’t remember. I’ve since spoken to the officer involved and she told me that as far as she’s aware other than her going in and querying Freya’s breed she didn’t ask for anything else.
She does have the name of the staff member who gave my details but she’s closed the file and refuses to give me it, I told her I wanted to make a report about it as what that staff member did is illegal under a serious breach of personal data . To do it the staff member had to log into the company’s data programme or whatever it’s called and bring up my personal details. It’s not just a crime committed against me it’s also one against Vets 4 Pets!
The police officer says it’s a civil matter , it’s not I did a lot of research, also my daughter is a manager of a particular department ( not criminal law) for one of the top ten law firms in the world, one of their clients is Apple. Sounds far fetched but I’m being truthful. So when she speaks with a colleague from a company such as that I’ll take their knowledge of the law over a po’s any day of the week. Unfortunately they won’t take me on as a client as they don’t represent the average person in the street. I wouldn’t even get a consultation lol.

This got long again sorry I didn’t intend it to but I’m still seriously peed off and it’s constantly on my mind as I’m still looking for a way forward , as I can’t afford legal fees Id need to go through civil courts.

The problem is Donna, if you go down the civil route, you may find your self up against Vets 4 Pets, and the rest would be history, because they would deffo not want you to win that case. Think about the cost, and try to move on.

I’m going to contact the royal veterinary complaints again.
The first time I spoke to them they said it definitely needs looking into, that it’s completely unethical and against their policies and regulations.
But first they said I needed to find out what member of staff it was and or the staff’s position in the company.
They only deal with complaints about vets and vet nurses, they recommended an ombudsman but I can’t remember which.
However now I’m going to put in a complaint about the owner manager as she is a vet, and also ask which ombudsman department I need to contact.

I’ve never done anything like this before I’m usually easy going and have a tendency to give in.
But not this time, it isn’t just me being threatened and still been constantly harassed, I can’t even go to my local shop due to threats and won’t be served anyway.
I’ve had to rehome my Freya which has completely destroyed me.

But what i really can’t forgive is someone tried to poison my dog, and i will not let that go ..never!
