11/9/14: Please welcome Bailey! Dana found Bailey listed for free on a Facebook yard sale site. She took her in so that she would not end up in the wrong hands or at the shelter. Then she contact us to help find her a home.
Dana took her to the vet for a check up. All looks good and from what we can tell she has been taken care of over the years. She may need her teeth cleaned but other than that she is healthy. She will see our vet soon to determine if a teeth cleaning is needed. She is up to date on her vaccinations and she is already spayed.
She is currently living with two other dogs. She and the other female keep their distance from one another. But she and the male love to play! They run around the yard with each other chasing basketballs and soccer balls. She loves the water hose-she barks and jumps and plays like a kid. She has no problem with stairs, though she walks as if her hips are tight but it’s just the way she’s made. Bailey will bark and growl at certain things on the TV like bulls, big dogs, and a few cats. She also doesn’t like any kind of violence on TV. She doesn’t care for the noise of the washer/dryer either.
Bailey will be eight years old in January. She likes dogs. We do not know if she likes cats. She came from a home with small children but we think she will be best suited in a home with kids that are 5+ so that boundaries are understood.
