Nursing a toy...

So Tiberius has a lamb type toy and ever since we brought him home he has 'nursed' on it....sucking on a part an then pawing with his front paws ..we figured he would outgrow it but so far hasn't. Is it just a comfort thing and normal?

Wheezie has suckled her plush it's since we got her and she'll be 3 in February.It is the cutest thing ever and all her toys have cone heads.lol She will do this for hours sometimes dozing off in between.

Harvey suckles on his cookoo (crocodile plush) every single day. I guess it calms/comfort them. As you know their life is full of "stress"

Chance started a suckler he had a giraffe named Binky when he turned a year old it turned into tearing and shredding no more plushies dog beds or blankets.

That is So Precious sucking on his baby, maybe he is thinking about when he was nursing his Mama, I had a Sheltie who did this also.
