Hi and welcome, I'm sorry I don't have any experience with hot spots, but someone on here will be along soon to offer help, and suggestions.

I have nothing to add but welcome . I have been accused of treating my bullies better than my kids. That is not true since my children aren't in a kennel when I am gone, lol. Actually the teenagers should have been

Welcome to EBn I too am dealing with some sort of hot spots I was told its best to dry out the skin so first day I shave all hair where the spot is since hair keeps it moist and clean the spots with poroxide also cut their nails down so they can't scratch. Usually scabs over by the next day
