Hello Everyone!
Back in December my boyfriend and I adopted an adorable 1 1/2 year old English Bulldog named Finn. Neither one of us had any prior experience with the breed and have been trying to learn as much as possible. Finn is a wonderful dog, listens very well, but has issues which we knew about before adopting him.
Every night after Finn and I play with his toys he gets in what I like to call a "humping rampage", him and I go back and forth for over an hour of me telling him no, I try and distract him with his toys, I get up or I move away from him. Now I know that I could easily be part of the problem because I have to learn how to be more assertive and i'm working on that.
But last night the weirdest thing happened and I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this, while I was sitting on the couch he jumped up on me and before I could even speak, he started humping me and then preceded to pee on me. Not just a little squirt, a full gallon of pee!!
He immediately jumped off and coward away from me. I was in shock but I didn't yell at him, I just got up and put his leash on and took him outside. He acted like he was afraid of me : (
So the BIG question is, where should I start to fix this problem? Should I make an appointment with the vet first, should I hire a trainer first?
Thank you in advance : )
