Love hurts

a member just told me about this memorial.. i have to say i am so thankful to have found this site. I feel like its people that understand the love and pain of loosing a member of our family, not just a dog..

my odie was the best dog ever.. we lost him this year on valentines day.. he was there for me and i will always believe he hung on that week just for me because i was spending my nights at the hospital with my father night after night.. when i came home in the mornings he was there waiting for me and let me snuggle and cry with him.. he would lick my face as the tears ran down my face.. two days after we laid my dad to rest we lost my odie.. he will always be in my heart.. i called him my perfect man.. miss him dearly.. so thankful he was a part of my life..

thank you.. life can be cruel sometimes,, i would give anything to have him back for one more day.. sometimes i think its getting easier but then i find myself tearing up again.. i won't ever forget him.. he loved everyone, especially puppies and kittens.. i can still see his little nubby tail wiggling when he would see a puppy or kitten.. like it was his.. lol
