Hey guys,
Hoping I'm worrying over nothing here.
Our beautiful boy Waffles is 9 weeks old. He's been a dream. Goes to bed no problem, barely any toilet accidents in the night, learning basics commands etc just lovable wee guy.
The past few days his play is getting really rough and he is definitely a wee land shark. Once he's in it there's no snapping him out of it. Bites, barks and general madness. Completely relentless. Try redirection with toys, taking him out in the garden where sometimes he'll play or sometimes he just sits or cries to get back in. Do the usual NO or leave it. If it's just him trying to be his wee bully self I'm good with it. He's not the only one who can be relentless and stubborn just ask my other half lol
My worry is something else is going on that I'm not seeing. Considering a trip to the vet. He seems to be biting his paws more than usual and licking everything. I know his wee mouth is hurting him so have toys in the freezer on rotation to help calm it but even they aren't working for him.
He had his first round of vaccinations and health check before we got him and all was perfect. He's on the same food he's been on since before he came to us aswell. I love this wee guy so much and would hate to think something else is going on with him. If only dogs could speak!

They are crazy energy bunnies at this time… playing and wearing him out will help. And training.. use the technique “nothing in life is free”. It is easy and works

You said he's biting his paws, what are you feeding him?

Winston was a little maniac when he was a pup we used to refer to him as the Tasmanian devil lol. Barky Bitey and just tons of energy. We crate trained him and if he got too nuts and wouldn’t listen we’d give him a time out and he always chilled out. Hope this helps
