Nightly growling

Hi all
My one-year-old bulldog Bear has a nightly routine where we come in from going potty and he starts jumping on me and growling and wants to get all aggressive. This just started a couple weeks ago and I'm not sure if he's just trying to play or if he's bored, he runs around in the yard and sometimes he wants to go on a walk, so he is getting some exercise just not sure what this new behavior is . I tried the spray bottle and it just gets him more riled up. He is neutered..Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

At 1 year.. he has energy to burn. If you have a fence yard— try playing ball or take for a walk to burn the energy

I would guess he's fired up after a good squat. That lightened load comes along with a burst of HAPPY! Not aggression. Help him burn it off without allowing interaction with his mouth. He's too old for "mouth play".
