Is my dog underweight?

Angus looks very good to me, but you could post for us pictures of him from side and from top, so we could see his waistline. Also, if you measure his height from the floor to the point between his shoulder blades, it would help too. AKC says bulldogs should weigh 40-50 pounds, so your boy is close to lower limit.
My bulldog is quite slim, he weighs 48 pounds, eats home cooked food and is extremely energetic and fit. I think if dog eats raw or home cooked food they usually are slimmer than the ones that eat kibble.

I'm the owner of a 1 yr old male English bulldog named Angus. When we get him we quickly knew that kibble didn't sit with him well (even the higher end brands).

Since then we've experimented with meats, cooked and raw, rice, veggies, and supplements. He occasionally has peanut butter, coconut oil, banana, etc. Overall he eats nearly 4-5 cups a food per day.

He weighs 35-36lbs. He's a little more slender than other bulldogs, so I naturally just think he's going to be lean. It's easy to overthink it and question the weight when other English bulldogs are 50ish pounds at the same age.

Attached are two photos. I'd love to hear people's thoughts and opinions. Thank you!

Your photos are blurry if we click on them but I still believe only at a year old n on raw he’s ok. Keep an eye on him. I wouldn’t worry. Better having a few pounds less than overweight.

The today’s photo he look better than the June one. You don’t see the spine like in the summer months. Again I personally find him ok. They change so fast. He’ll grow into his body soon..
