It's social media but ONLY pictures. So no status updates like Facebook. You "follow" people to see their pictures and vice versa. You use # to label things. I'll give you an example from my Instagram

if you search instagram and then select tab iphone apps - download it -and enlarge by x1 it will work - that is how i use instagram on ipad
