Well, we took Bella to the vet one last time this morning. It was something we knew that was coming for a few days now. Last night, her health deteriorated to the worst and medicine wouldnāt even calm her down. She hasnāt been able to stand or walk in over a week and the veterinarian believes it was due to maybe a stroke. She was the best and only dog Iāve ever had with fourteen great years, from the time she was a puppy at three months to now. She was the gift to myself two days before Christmas in 2013 and the best gift I have ever given myself. She truly left an impact in our lives and was always such a good girl never hurting anybody or causing any disruption to cause pain to someone. She did great around kids and adults alike and she was just a happy smiling dog that didnāt care for conflict and just was there to be your friend. God truly blessed me by giving her to me, and God is truly blessing me today I know by taking her into the pearly gates over the rainbow bridge. I donāt know how Iām gonna be right now. All I know is itās been a ton of tears and my fiancĆ© and I just bawling with an empty soulless feeling inside. I just want to say that everybody on here thatās ever went through this, I donāt know how itās done, but I am a wreck. I just want my dog back but I know thatās not an option now and it just feels so empty and alone in the house. And I feel defeated. God bless all of you English bulldog owners. They truly are the best breed no questions asked. Rest in peace, Bella. Until we meet again.
