Meet sweet Foxy. This girl was surrendered to us from another rescue. She had been found wandering along a road. Aside from obviously being starved, our vet found a severe respiratory problem, hookworms, ear and eye infections, and bad teeth. The good news is that she is responding to the medications and is feeling better, her blood work was good and she was heartworm negative. We do not know how old she is. She has learned to use a doggie dog in her foster home for bathroom breaks. We do know that she seems to be OK around other animals as long as they are not approaching her food bowl. She should be monitored around children. She will need daily oral medications in addition to ear and eye meds. Once she is stronger and the respiratory issues are better we will get her dental issues resolved. She is a sweet, happy girl who deserves a better life than she had before rescue.
