Lots of Christmas movies on…some that bring back great childhood memories!!

~ the leg lamp from "A Christmas Story"
~ Chevy Chase falling through the ceiling :lmaogirl: that one will never get old

~ Rudolph "there's always tomorrow"

~ Frosty (my teenager LOVED that one when she was little)

Can't say I have an all time favorite, because I love all the classics!

What's yours? :christmas26:

The only ones I ever watch are A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation.

I LOVE all of classic's… but here are my fav's

Elf
Merry Christmas Charlie Brown
A Christmas Story
Christmas Carol w/George C Scott… although I do love the Muppets version too!!! Lol

I love the classics too:

Miracle On 34th Street (original version w/Natalie Wood)
Little Women (the old one w/Elizabeth Taylor and June Allyson...not technically a "Christmas" movie but it was one I watched with my parents before they passed away and it makes me feel very much in the spirit of the season)

I don't know if it counts but the Grinch cartoon from the '60's is my all time fave and Christmas story, taught me to never put my tongue on any freezing metal LOL!

I have so many Favourites, that I grew up with and watched with my kids when they were small, and now I'm watching them with my Grandson. I love all the Classic Cartoons like Rudolph, Frosty, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Charlie Browns Christmas, and Mickeys Christmas Carol, and I love the Christmas Movies like Elf, A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation and Miracle on 34th Street and Annie.

For some reason I LOVE to watch Little Women & Gone w/the Wind at Christmas. I LOVE both movies… Lol

What an awesome post Laurie! For me I don't know if could rank them but I like home alone and home alone 2, garfield's Christmas, mickey's Christmas carol, Rudolph, Charlie brown's Christmas carol. My parents still have an old school vhs from the late 80s/early 90s with a lot of them taped from tv half the fun is watching the old commercials lol! I'm lame, I know :)

An older movie with Mary Steenburgen, One Magic Christmas, is one I love!

It's a Wonderful Life stands the test of time for me as well as other classics.

Christmas Vacation w/ Griswolds never gets old, still hysterically funny.

And, this isn't a Christmas movie but is about family & touching & funny, it's
an older one too with Tom Selleck, Jessica Tandy & ? Hume (as his parents)
called Folks!...then one that Burt Renolds & Goldie Hawn meet each other's
parents for the 1st time, Best Friends, is a longtime fav.

These aren't the norm so hope y'all try them, don't think y'all be disappointed.

Great thread, Laurie...Merry Christmas & a Blessed New Year to All...with LOVE.

Elf is at the top of the list. There's many more with it too. I just love the season. I even enjoy watching those made for TV movies. The story lines aren't the greatest, but I still never get disappointed.

It's a Wonderful Life!
