He came in about 7 weeks ago blind in his left eye and with an ulcer on his right eye. Our eye specialist stitched down his lower lid temporarily in order to prevent the right eye entropion from perforating the cornea. We administered drops to both eyes for the past 6 weeks. Yesterday he went in for successful entropion surgery to the right eye which is now completely healed. Doc removed scar tissue from left eye and he now has good sight in both. Back in the cone for 2 weeks and our boy who was near completely blind will be able to see...YAAAAY!
I don't particularly like the name Yoshi so I call him Oshie...Sandy calls him YoYo and Dalton calls him Big Boy. He's big, he's young and he's very happy and playful. He'll answer to most anything as long as he's getting some attention.

Bless you, Sandy, Dalton and most of all Oshie/YoYo/Big Boy. About the name Yoshi...I bet that before he was reincarnated as a bull dog, he was a Buddhist monk and walked around meditating with the Dali Llama...such a nice image that in my mind’s eye...saffron robes and a pudgy bulldog monk.

Once again, you have made me cry for happy. I WISH I could do all the good that you and your family do for these deserving babies. As I have said before, you are my heroes. Thank you for all you do. (I like "yo yo!") Another miracle on your list!

FANTASTIC!!! I love you r updates and Oshie is in fabulous hands.... praying for continued success with him.

What a great looking boy too

You have a special place in bully heaven
Oh man...that would be awesome. I'd get to see all my babies again. Getting gnawed, clawed, mobbed, kissed, licked, chewed, humped, snooted, slimed, slobbered, and sat upon by 500 bulldogs would be fun fun fun.

I made up my mind years ago, when I get to The Pearly Gates, I'm immediatley looking for my dogs and 1 cat past. I can't wait to see my Chunky and of course little Izzy, maybe she'll tell me what happened
