The last 24 hours have been NUTZZZZ!!!

It has been CRAZY this past two days. I was up til midnight last night trying to fix the SEO for the new home page. Finally got it, after hours of endless back and forth with SEO specialist, and finally went to bed. This morning I woke up, let out the fur-kids and fed them, paid my bills, made a banner. It was then that I realized that I had renamed the forums last night to a more SEO friendly name- (which is good, but it would have KILLED US in our rankings with google and bing!) So I had to try to redirect the old name (englishbulldognews.com/forums/forum.php) to the new SEO friendly name (englishbulldognews.com/forums/) and in the process I BROKE the forums! yikes!

So yes I was shaking in my boots. So worried about my bully pals who were logging in to find the forums closed. Oh noooos!

Finally got it resolved, so we have the new forum name but if someone punches in the old one or hits an existing link they will get the new page name.... so I finally was able to make my skin kids their breakfast....

I ended up making them pancakes I did give them each a bananna bread muffin while they waited for me. Which they pretty much mashed into crumbs lol

No day off for me [MENTION=1648]Lucylambchop[/MENTION] , I have to update links on several pages today, since I moved the vet recommendations to the home page as an article. But it is so much easier to update it that way, so all the work will be a blessing in the long run.

So THAT is what was wrong this morning at 5am when I tried to get on thru my usual link... DOH!!! I just took another route here and hardly skipped a beat. Good job on recovering!!!

My bookmark puts me on a different homepage and says I'm not logged in. But if I click on forum it takes me there and then I am logged in. It's been doing that for about three days now though, not just today.

i did the same thing...went to use my saved link and it went to my internet provider page with errors...didn't take me but a search and found a way to the site. i wasn't giving up...i needed my fix. thank you for doing all that you do...i echo what the other's have said....please take time for yourself. :D

Go to the forums and log out to clear your cookies. Then log back in. That should fix it. (I hope). That is how I fixed it on mine. But I think first I logged into the home page, then logged out once I saw that the style was different on the home page. (Brown) when I was using purple. So I logged out. Then relogged back in.

[MENTION=2]desertskybulldogs[/MENTION], I will when I try it, but I'm not frustrated with it enough right now to bother. Because to over ride that link on my iPad would then reposition it to the last spot instead of the first in my favorites bar and I don't want to do that or mess with trying to figure out how to rearrange it. PLUS...it means going through that whole remember my password ordeal again. For now it's easier to just deal with one extra click to get on the forum.

LOL that is funny. I did not have an issue on my ipod at all, but perhaps that was because I did that on the computer first.

[MENTION=2]desertskybulldogs[/MENTION] I am wondering how you fit everything into your day ... all the kids - both skin and fur, taking care of the forums, etc. I think you VERY VERY much for all that you do and hope you pamper yourself tomorrow. (Or let someone else pamper you, whichever works!)
