Mia needs our love, support, prayers and positive thoughts!

Monday I droped Mia off at our vet. for her surgery and around noon I got a phone call from the surgeon that was going to do the work, they were prepping her for
surgery shaving her belly and they found tumors around two over nipples.
They ended up removing two of her nipples and tumors and they are going to be sent out to a lab.


They also removed the growth in her mouth and they felt that needs to go to a lab as well.
The doctors feel that both have a high chance of being cancerous so now I have a week of waiting to find out the results.


She'll be going back in about 10 days to have about four stitches removed from her mouth and a bunch from her belly. So she's home now with us and seems to be doing pretty well, she's doing a lot of sleeping probably from the pain medication. I will update this again when I get the lab results in.

Oh No, poor sweet baby, and poor you. So sorry you're going through this with Mia. I'm hoping and praying the tumours are benign and no cancer is found. Mia just found her forever home, and deserves to live a long and healthy life with you. Sending love, hugs and prayers that she is okay.
