GOT THE PUP feeding and all questions

So got him and he is perfect! Only thing I didn't like is breeder smoked inside! Got him home gave him a batch we had dog oatmeal shampoo and conditioner.. hardest part is he's wandering around looking for mom dad and his 2 brothers and it's hartbreaking...

So for feeding him he was born 12/20/2015 and he weighs 14 lbs. We are going to feed him the coconut oil in the am. Should we feed him 1 cup in the am 1/2 cup at noon and another cup at night? Just worried about his tail pocket too we were very thorough with cleaning it and drying it with a paper towel an and all tips welcome I'll use this thread as my dumb beginner bulldog questions

He is so darn adorable!!! tail cleaning... use witch hazel once or twice a day, no need to worry about drying as it has a natural drying agent.


here is a good chart for feedings

8 weeks	1/2 cup 3 times a day
12 weeks	2/3 to 3/4 cup 3 times a day
4 & 5 months	3/4 cup 3 times a day
6 months to 1 year	1.25 to 1.5 cups twice a day

Ok thank you I gave him 1/2 cup this morning and he still acts like he is starving.. I do have a big concern though he will not drink water.. I think he has taken 2 laps of water since we got him yesterday

Most puppies will eat like they have not eaten in forever.... but he is 10 weeks, so maybe add a little more to the bowl than the 1/2

Congratulations... What food are you using? That can make a difference in how full they fell but I can also tell you that our Jupiter always acted like she was starved when we first got her. Now that she is in her routine and knows there's a regular supply she has been known to leave food in the bowl . However, the "but", if she sees someone else has a different food she'll gladly help devour that too.

He may take a while to come around to certain things since he's in a new environment. I am so happy he's drinking now Show him all the love you can, so he knows he's safe, and loved in his new home.
