Koozer
Starting to feel stressed today about Koozer's surgery tomorrow. He goes in (for the second time, if you remember) to fix his prolapsed urethra. As if that isn't giving me worry enough, I think I might have found the start of an interdigital cyst on his rear paw. Can the vet fix that at the same time he is under for the prolapsed urethra? My poor boy:unsure:

Poor Koozer, I hope everything turns out well. The vet can definitely give you some topical medicine for the cyst that will help. Please let us know how it turns out. Hugs to Koozer.

Good luck tomorrow. Hugs and prayers being sent your way. please update as soon possible.

I hope everything goes well tomorrow. You can soak his paw in Epson Salt if you want or put some Preparation H on it.

Sending out hug & prayers to you guys… please keep us posted!!!

Prayers for Koozer:pray:poor lil' fella'. Hope he comes through his surgery just fine, and has no more problems.

Gfitz911, does Koozer go in for his surgery today? I'm thinking of him and you and praying that everything will go beautifully! Finn just had surgery yesterday as well on his tail and I do know how worrisome it is when our bullies go in for procedures. I would try soaking his paw in Epsom salt like David mentioned. I don't know if the vet could take care of the cyst during surgery but you should talk to him/her about it. Will be thinking of you.

Hugs and prayers to you and Koozer..... all will be good!

Went into the vet yesterday for Koozer's surgery...came out with Koozer on the end of his leash! Turns out, the prolapse is not really visible and since the last surgery (which had to be reversed), the urethra has kind of maintained it's shape. So, great news, the vet didn't want to do the surgery until it's absolutely necessary...YAY!!!!! So, we just have to keep an eye on it, and if/when it prolapses again, he will have the surgery then.

As for Koozer's paw, it is inflamed, but we caught it super early. Started the epsom salt soak with a followup wipe with Duoxo. Thanks everyone for the prayers...they clearly worked:D

Thats great great news!! Thanks for letting us know. I hope his paw gets better.

Yeah ... So glad all is well
