Was just curious, among the bulldogs you've *personally* known, or known about (like a neighbors, or family members, who you have verified) .... how long did they live?

I keep hearing 7-9 years but then random people walk up to me on the street and have *repeatedly* told me they had one that lived 12, 14 years ...

So now im all confused!

My boy died at 7 but i know someone that has a Bulldog from the same breeder and their Bulldog is about to be 14

Rocco is my first but my friend's girlfriend's bully just passed about a year ago at the age of 13 which I say is not too shabby!

@2BullyMama did you end up adding it? I just added a "14" on your behalf since I don't have any bulldogs to vote by yet!

My Bulldozer lived until just before his 14th birthday - I strongly believe it was his crazy obsession with pumpkin beer, the dog would knock over small children to get to one. I let him lick my finger after I dipped it in beer (please no berating me for giving him beer).

My Rampage unfortunately had what his vet believed to be a heart attack very suddenly at 5 years old.

I fixed it. I have known people that have had bulldogs that lived to be 14 years old too. Most of the ones I have known have not lived past 9.

9 years. This thread makes me sad, why do the best breed ( go ) so early.

I have not ever met anyone with a Bully, this seems odd I guess. But I Pray they live a long long life.
