No, that would hurt my poor babies, and I would think traumatize my poor Dozer, he would be a shaking terrified wreck from the noise of the tattoo gun. They also wouldn't have a say in if they wanted one lol. It would be more my decision and I think would be painful for them.

I would be more inclined to get the ink done. I have one arm to finish and I want round the top of my chest done next but I really don't have the time at the mo

I have waited so long for my baby bully and I would do anything to keep her safe. I am going to microchip her for sure. I have heard people say if they want my dog they will take her and cut out the chip if they want. So lets say I do get her a tattoo (to keep her safe) would they do something like cut it off or disfigure her to cover the tattoo?

When my oldest Boston Terrier was neutered, my vet tattooed his name on his inner thigh. When my vet asked me if I wanted it done I was very torn. He was also chipped. She said it was a way for me to ID him so I said yes. I thought it would be very small but when I picked him up it was very large! I was shocked! But I turned ended up loving it. He was my little Rocky with his tattoo. Would I have ever taken him in to just get a tattoo, no. But to have it done while he was in getting neutered under anesthesia already, I would do it again...just much smaller. Lol.

I would definitely have an ID tattoo done on Bocephus but only in conjunction with another medical procedure so that it wouldn't hurt him. I mean - if he was already under.
