I said other because i'm not sure. I've also heard that people who steal dogs often don't take them to the vet because they're worried about finding the micro chip, or that unless they ask... vets are typically searching for the mirco chip to make sure that it is in fact, their owner. So I think I would if I was really worried something would happen to her, but I keep her on a tight leash so i'm not too concerned.
