I'm sure my vet thinks I'm insane… Lol :loco2: There is a cushings page that I go to on FB, and most of the people on there have insisted on the ultrasound so I'm going to go ahead and have it done anyway. After all it's ONLY money…

Great idea, the experiences of others is always so helpful in getting vet care. Let us know how her appointment goes, sending prayers!

I JUST got home… well I'm relieved to say that her ultrasound looked unremarkable… NO visible tumors :whew: except for the fact that her liver is a little enlarged. She didn't seem too concerned about it because that could be related to the cushings… she did another ACTH test to check her cortisol level (this will determine whether her meds will need to be increased) and another senior panel to see if anything shows up. Interestingly though, we discovered that her hips are actually FINE she has arthritis in her spine. The protocol for that is the same as what we were doing, so right now we are going to wait a few days to see what her blood works says.

THANK YOU guys so much for the prayers, I really appreciate it!!! I've been a nervous wreck the last couple of days… you guys ROCK!!! :heartsign:

Sounds like you have gotten some GOOD news! It's about time,eh? We shall keep up with the good thoughts! ddnene

the tramadol acts on the central nervous system and can make humans and dogs not feel like ourselves. Sounds like she's better off w/out this med in her system . Happy to hear the ultrasound was clear! :)

YEAH!!!!!!! So glad to see some good news

Tracey, it sounds like you couldn't have had better news! So far, so good--keeping my fingers crossed that the bloodwork comes back good!

 Great news to hear! We will continue to pray for Roxie.
