ah, interesting. that was my husbands impression as well. at the shelter they call him "old english bulldog mix". 80 lbs.

just my humble opinion,,, i think OLD English and prob pit. Looks so solid and beautiful . I know pictures can be deceiving though. i suck at stuff because i think this boy may be a lifesaver for you,,,,, but I also know that with kidos, you just dont take chances. and yes, my heart pulls for the two of you :(

I would say he has more in his appearance from pit bull and American bulldog.

Agree... American Bulldog/Pitty mix.

With this mix, if you got him as a pup and trained appropriately he would be a great family dog, but with 2 yrs if unknowns as much as it hurts, he needs to be with an experienced working dog owner.
