4th of July Shopping Score!

We decided to do a little shopping this afternoon. And since we were in the area I suggested we browse through Marshall's and boy oh boy did we score!

This isn't the best picture angle but this really looks a lot like HRH. It is concrete. And HEAVY!

We also found but did not buy a couple other bully items. Oh to be wealthy and have unlimited display space.

Bookends....priced separately.

Don't look at the goofy expression on my face....I had just told him he wasn't supposed to be getting me in the picture.

It is in the garden. On the patio Bruce built between the fence and the neighbors raspberries. I haven't decided if that's it's permanent home yet or not though. And I was scolding him. Although he never listens.
I am not photogenic as you can see, that's why I don't like to be in pictures much.

I usually score when i go to Marshall's...but every time I look through the dog breed paintings there's never a bulldog Score on the statue!!

I really liked the painting too. But just didn't have anywhere to think to hang it. The colors don't show well in the photo but the nose was actually a blue purple not black.

Good score! A friend of mine bought me a cement Bully at a yard sale in N. CA only it has a long tail! It is still cute!

I'm still thinking about it. Because it does look so much like HRH I'd love to stain to sort of match her markings. But I just don't know if that's even possible with stains. And I don't think I'd want to paint it.
