this is TRUE!!

My boys whine at me when I'm reading a book or when i'm on the computer. It makes me feel really guilty! sometimes i cannot help it and have to get some work done so that's when i must ignore the whining. The majority of the time tho, I cave in and do whatever they want me to.

What can I do?

play with him for a solid 30 minutes--toss a ball or chase him around the house. Get him good and tired. Or, take him for a walk around the neighborhood or a car ride. Give him stimulation and he'll be too tired to whine.
