Hello All....tomorrow I have the unfortunate task of taking my boy to cross the Rainbow Bridge. It’s hard to say goodbye and I love him dearly but its quality of life, not quantity. This forum has helped me over the years for advice, and support. Thank you to everyone and wish us luck.

Sending love and prayers for comfort... hugs

I am so sorry. I hope you are able to find comfort in the many memories I am sure you have with him.

We will think of your boy and you. Prayers for comfort.

You've been such a great pawrent to Cooper. He is now 10 years old right? That's a very long life for an English Bulldog, so he's got both quantity and quality plus a whole lot of lovings.

I know it's going to be a very difficult day for you tomorrow. But you know, when it's time... it's time. We're all here with you. xoxo.

Most been through this decision n it’s always hard. You’re right, quality of life what counts. So sorry....

I am sure he has had a great life with you. It is one of the most difficult things we ever have to do, but if they are suffering, it is the most loving thing you can do for them.Be strong and know it is the right thing to end suffering.Prayers for you.

Prayers sent your way. It’s great knowing that you are doing what is best for your boy. Hang in there and cherish the time you’ve spent with him. The greatest gift they can ever give us is love and you returning that love and doing what is best for them is what any of us would do.

I am very sorry. It is such an awful decision to have to make but also one of the kindest things you can do for him. As you say, it is quality of life and when that is gone, it is no life for him. Bless him and bless you. :angelheart:

Prayers and hugs to you....
I believe we are close to the end for one of our furbabies. Roxy is our 14 year old pit mix. It is such a hard thing to even think about.[emoji3590]

Re:He Crossed the Rainbow Bridge

I took Cooper yesterday, and with his family by his side we said goodbye. As sad as I feel there is some relief knowing that he is not uncomfortable anymore. Thank you again for all your words of encouragement and support.
