Scarey but VERY cool!!

This was a picture taken last night during our brief storm. Here in FL. We do it fast and loud!! This was taken right by the SkyWay Bridge which is about 40 minutes from me and VERY scary bridge!! I just thought this picture was awesome! You can see part of the bridge lit up. FL. is the #1 lighting state in the US. This just goes to prove!! Yikes!!

That is very cool, but lightning is scary. It's a good thing you were taking the pictures from far away.
They say you have more chance at getting hit with lightning, than you do at winning the lottery, just don't test it out, make sure you stay safe.

HOLY WOW... that picture is fantastic!

And, Kelly, BTW -- PICTURES of that bridge scare the hell out of me. There is a bridge up here that I totally avoid at all cost, the look is nothing like the Skyway, but it has always terrified me since I was a child and I will NOT drive over it. It is the Delaware memorial Bridge and it has a very high point that just sends my nerves into a spin --- typing my palms are sweating. I did a rescue transport a few months ago and that base of the bridge was the meeting place, I was mentally freaking out... I drove about 40 mins out of my way to get there without crossing that bridge :D

It never seizes to amaze me, why people build the biggest citys on top of tectonic plates, tornado alleys, near volcanos...etc...I like storms too, but there's a limit.

sounds just like me. I have an extreme fear of heights and going through bridges where I am surrounded with water. Going through that East Bay Bridge in SF is a challenge for me.

Wow! That is a scary pic, with the bridge halfway lit in the background...im not a lover of really long bridges that tend to sway!!
