We are new to this site and wanted to introduce ourselves. My name is Mariah and my husbands name is Dylan. Dylan and I have been together for going on five years and have lived together for two, just recently we added Rigamortis (Big Rigg) to our home. Rigg is a white and brindle AKC registered English Bulldog puppy, right now he is currently six months old and a terror.
We brought him home when he was six weeks old and realized he had a few area's of concern. When we took him to the vet they put of his vaccinations so he could be put on an antibiotic and a steroid for puppy shingles. Rigg was on the medication for a month and then was leaned off of it but the shingles came back again so Rigg got a long lasting anti biotic shot called Covenia which seems to have worked so far. He also was born with a dead right eye, his mirror behind the retina is cracked so he can see motions but is pretty much blind in it. An eye specialist has told us that sense it doesn't seem to bother him right now to let him grow and progress before we consider anything dramatic. And as if things couldn't get worse for my poor baby the breeder we purchased him from kept him on a grated floor for the first six weeks of his development which caused deformities in his bone formality in his front paws. Its been a rough six months but its all worth each day we have him!
