I just got back from voting… in the middle of a farmers field at this small church, that's my voting station… Lol

I'm not going to go on a political rant on here about my views, that's not important. What IS important is that we ALL take the time to vote in this country. People have died to give you this right, so please don't waste this precious gift. I hear a million excuses from… I don't have time, or it doesn't make a difference!!! YES it does make a difference…. you know in your heart that your voice was heard, whether things go the way you want them to or not. I also think it's important for children see their parents vote… we take SO MUCH for granted in this country.

OK I'm off my soapbox for now… :usa:

Done.... Sad, I was #532 at 11:30 in the morning

I was shocked at how many people were at the polls in our farm field… Lol It was seriously low :(

I took a nice walk to my voting place this morning!

Its compulsory here in Australia to vote otherwise you can get fined but honestly none of them are worth voting for so maybe that's the way it is here.

Hmm that's interesting… well I'm NOT saying that either party is worth a damn here either, but BOY do people love to complain about it!!!

Agreed!!

I always vote as well, but it does get discouraging when all the candidates are a bunch of lying idiots. When my son turned 18, it was a presidential election and we watched all the debates together and I tried to educate him as best I could on the whole process and right before it was time to vote he asked me how could he be sure he was voting for the right person because he didn't believe anything either of them were saying. I basically had to tell my son that he should pick the candidate he thought was lying the least. How sad is that? He hated the whole process and I have to agree with him, we as a country are stuck with a bunch of A holes. No integrity at all.

Nope, not going to vote today..............because I already did!!! I always do early voting, no lines, no fuss, no muss, just walk in show ID and vote. :)

I always vote as theyre is usually one worse than the other and one party you don't want in when your in Business unless you want to go broke. I agree with you Tracey people should vote or do not complain as maybe if they did the other party would not have got in.

Like HTX Bully...I voted last week. And Holy crap....a Republican won the Governorship here in Democratic Maryland. I guess Marylanders got fed up with all the taxes imposed by the current administration that they did not want a third term. I hope the new Governor repeals some of those taxes. Hell they even tax the rain here in Maryland.

I am a Met fan and a jet fan and every candidate I vote for loses...Jeez how depressing! At some point in my life id like to feel what its like to back a winner
