Please pray for Stiggy

izstigspunks Sending BIG prayer :pray2::pray:that all is A-OK with the boy!!

The results came back and the vet said that it was a tumour. :( But she also said that in 90% of the cases, it is benign.

We're in the midst of scheduling an X-ray for him with a specialist to determine if it metastasized.

Stig's back to his old self, even broke a buddy belt harness this morning because he pulled so hard when walking. Please continue praying that he's all in the clear.

Praying for the Stigmister.... keep us posted

RELIEVED HE'S HOME AND HOLDING HIM IN PRAYER
FOR PERFECT HEALTH & LONG LIFE! XOXO

Sending prayers and God's watchful blessings your way for a good report!!!!!!!!!

Today was Stiggy's appt. The oncologist suggested an ultrasound of his abdomen and an X-ray of his lungs, which require sedation. Unfortunately, they were conservative in the first dose, which required a second. But Stiggy was getting frustrated and showed a little aggression, so they decided to not continue and reschedule. I don't blame Stig, I despise needles as well, especially since 80% of the time the nurse wouldn't be able to find a good vein, requiring multiple pokes. That, plus the appt was in the afternoon, and there was a long waiting period.

My question to you guys is - When do you feel would be best to schedule the next appt? Remember, he was sedated roughly 3 weeks ago for neutering, and he was sedated again today. Both times, it took a while for his grogginess to wear off. By husband is off this week, do you think Friday would be too soon? I am wary of stressing his system, or should I not worry?

For me it would be how much do I trust the vet and how important it is to not delay the tests. It is a tough balance... I trust our vet so much I wouldn’t worry about two procedures so close, but only you can answer that

Prayers for sweet Stigs

All went well. The vet gave anti-anxiety meds at his last appt to give prior to this one, so Stig was more relaxed.

His vet commented that he has typical bulldog lungs, meaning although they’re not the most ideal, but very normal for a bulldog. His abdomen’s clear. His prostate is slightly large, however, it’s typical for someone who was late in neutering.

The vet recommended that the same tests be done 3 months from now.

Stiggy’s groggy at the moment but received tons of hugs and kisses when we got home. <3

thajs so much for the continued prayers all!
