Poor Martha had been spayed yesterday, and surgery on both eyes. She came home this morning, and is having trouble manuvering with the cone.
TWO weeks-we may go through several cones by then. She is scratching at it, and Maude wants to chew on it! I may not make it two weeks!
Look at that poor pitiful face. I feel like Bad Mama! cone 001.JPGcone 004.JPGcone 002.JPG

Oh Lynn, I feel your pain. Mine just got out of his second cone. My suggestion, if she breaks this one(they crack) get one with the little padded edge - your legs will thank you. Bocephus was constantly hitting me in the shins with his cone. She will get used to it but, I'm not going to lie, it's a tough couple weeks. If she doesn't have one, a raised water dish makes things a lot easier and less messy

Aww poor baby -hope she get better soon xxx we didnt need to use cones for our girlies ,but hopefully Martha will settle with one xxxx

Oh my, her lil sad face is getting to me, can't imagine seeing it
in person :( Will pray the time magically flies by! Is there a
way to cut it a tad shorter?

Aww poor Martha, glad everything went okay in the surgery!!! I agree w/Carol, that cone is HUGE!!!

awe, poor baby girl. sending hugs and prayers for a quick recovery

Aww poor sweetheart. I hope she has a quick and easy recovery. Have you looked at the soft cones? They sell them at Petsmart, and PetValu, they may be more comfortable.
