Seriously.....went to Philly burbs for a few days and this new mat was irreplaceable !!! It really really works! Non toxic and weight activated. I sat on it to test it and...ummmmm...WHOA....chilly

We have one and Bristol loves it. After she ruff houses with Penny she puts herself in a self induced time out on her mat to cool down and catch her breath.
It is amazing how cool it gets.

[MENTION=15310]helsonwheels[/MENTION] Hi! Its a non toxic gel inside so IF it happens to get punctured there's nothing inside that is harmful to the pup. The outside is a really nice, soft plastic material that wipes clean. It took Joey a few times to figure it out so what I did was get a treat and put her in a down stay for a minute or so, on the mat, and she realized from then on it will cool her off.
